ADMISSION POLICY

Admission is granted on merit by the College Admission Committee under the rules laid down by the Directorate of Federal Government Educational Institutions (C/G) IGT & Es Branch GHQ Rawalpindi as announced from time to time. Following are the entitled categories:

  • Children of serving armed Forces personnel’s. 35%
  • Children of retired armed Forces personnel’s. 10%
  • Children of civilians paid out of Defence estimates. 10%
  • Open Merit (Open to all categories of Cantt Residents). 45%
  • Children of FGEIs Employees (Over and above the allocated quota)

Children of FGEIs Employees

Candidates seeking admission on seats in their respective categories are required to submit the following documents along with their admission forms:

  • Candidates residing in the Cantt areas shall have to submit a certificate of residence from the Cantt Board Kharian Cantt.
  • Children of Armed Forces Personnel shall attach a service certificate from the concerned formation/unit etc.
  • Children of retired armed forces personnel shall attach a copy of the pension book/discharge documents.
  • Children of civilians paid out of Defence estimates shall furnish a certificate from the concerned office that they are being paid out of Defence estimates.
  • Children of FGEIs Employees are treated as per the children of Armed Forces personnel and be given admission in school/college over and above the allocated quota. Children of FGEIs (C/G) Employees shall submit a certificate from the Head of Office/Institution.

Important Notice

Candidates seeking admission on seats in their respective categories are required to submit the following documents along with their admission forms:

  • The above mentioned certificates should be up-to-date. No out-dated certificate will be entertained.
  • No re-admission to 1st year will be allowed except in case where a student could not appear in first year exam owing to medical reasons. Intimation in this respect will be given to the College well in time.
  • No admission form will be issued /received after the expiry of stipulated date.
  • Candidates who wish to be considered for more than one group (Pre-Eng, Pre-Med, Arts etc) shall have to apply separately with in the stipulated period.
  • Acceptance of application form will not necessarily mean acceptance of candidate for admission. In their own interest candidates are advised to apply for admission to other local colleges as well.
  • Incomplete admission form shall stand rejected forthwith.
  • No student will be accepted on casual basis.
  • Migration from local colleges will not be allowed.
  • No student can be admitted to the college unless she has signed the declaration published in the admission form and had paid full fee/dues.
  • Matric (Arts) Students will not be eligible for getting admission in ICS.
