About University National University of Pakistan (NUP) is a federally chartered public sector university. About the BS Program (4 Year)
The duration of the BS Programme Course is Four years at the end of which the University Exams will be held as Final Term exams shall be conducted at the end of each semester and it shall be developed, distributed, conducted and marked by the University.and Mid-Term and Sessional marks will be awarded by college. The degree is conferred by the National University of Pakistan, Islamabad after the successful completion of the course and related requirements.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission
The University lays down the following criteria for admissions in BS Program at affiliated Colleges;
- BS English, BS Health & Physical Education: At least 50% marks in Intermediate /12 years schooling/ALevel (HSSC) or Equivalent.
- BS IT: At least 50% marks in Intermediate/12 years schooling/A- Level (HSSC) or Equivalent with Mathematics. The students who have not studied Mathematics at intermediate level are eligible to apply for BS IT, but they will have to pass two Deficiency Courses of Mathematics (06 credits) in the First Two semesters.
Open Merit Calculation
Merit for Admissions to BS Program will be calculated by the following formula;
- Matric or Equivalent = 20%
- HSSC or Equivalent = 80%
- Admission test can be conducted by college as per requirement.
